Online poker is quickly becoming the norm in the poker world
The Keystone State is ready for more poker action with a great online poker event scheduled for this weekend. A new poker series called Pennsly-MANIA, promises to be the biggest guaranteed tournament that has ever run legally in the state of Pennsylvania. The action kicks off this coming Saturday, May 17, and it offers several satellite options for those who prefer testing their skills before paying for the full buy-in cost.
Online poker operations have been running legally in the state since 2019, and all residents of the state are invited to join the event. This Saturday’s event comes with a $250,000 guarantee and $200 buy-in, with satellites starting for as little as $10. According to a Pokerfuse report made last weekend, this online event is officially the biggest single tournament ever run in the state. This two-day event will play several levels on Day 1, which will allow a five-hour period of late registration; however, the number of times a player can pay for reentry was established at five.
Also accompanying this tournament, there will be a special Pennsyl-MANIA Depositor Freeroll. This event will reward the top 50 finishers with a $200 worth entry into the Pennsyl-MANIA event. It will run from May 17, 2020 as a special promotion to celebrate the biggest online tournament in the Keystone State. To be eligible to enter this freeroll, players must make a deposit before 2 PM ET this coming Saturday, before the big event. The second day of action will start on May 18, at 7 PM ET.
